With over 1.7 Billion users and an Oscar winning film, Social Media is far from anything but the headlines. Its presence lingers around us like a billow of smoke. Its boundaries and potential are almost impossible to know. And, as the saying goes: Where there's smoke, there's fire.

The Social Media Market is: Booming. There's no other word for it. The most common example is probably Facebook. Going from a mere 200 users in 2004 to a whopping 600 million in a little under 7 years indicates a calculated "daily average growth rate of 140%". That is not only insane, but unprecedented. No product, service or company has grown so fast in the history of human civilization. That's not an overstatement or exaggeration, that's a fact.

Social Media Marketing presents a huge opportunity. One that is new and unexplored. For example, television has been around for fifty years, print advertisement has existed for probably around three-hundred, social media as we know it, and marketing therein is around five years old. That’s a baby in the marketing world. Anyone who claims to have the system figured out is not only bold but probably wrong.
